We are deeply grateful to Laura Ness and Los Gatos Magazine for the generous and thoughtful coverage in the Spring 2026 issue's The Fine Wine Report. Being spotlighted among the gems of the 26th annual San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition means the world to our team — and to the extraordinary growers who make wines like these possible.

Out of 5,500 wines entered and 11 Domaine Della submissions, we are proud to share that seven received Double Gold medals — with the rest earning Gold and Silver. Two of our 2023 Single Vineyard Pinot Noirs were featured by Laura as personal favorites from the competition.

The 2026 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition drew 5,500 entries from across North America, with 56 wines advancing to the Sweepstakes round. We are honored to be among those recognized, and humbled that Laura chose both of these wines as personal highlights in a field of exceptional California Pinot Noir.

Thank you, Laura — and thank you to Los Gatos Magazine for celebrating the wines, the vineyards, and the friendships that make Domaine Della what it is.

Welcome to our 2026 Memorial Day Spring Release

We are proud to introduce the 2024 vintage of our Artisan Single Vineyard Series, sourced from some of the most revered sites in the Russian River Valley. This release debuts five exceptional wines: the "Ritchie Vineyard" Chardonnay; the "Graham Family Vineyard" and "Earl Stephens Vineyard" Pinot Noirs; and, for the first time, the inaugural vintages of our "Bacigalupi Vineyard" Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Your guaranteed allocation is now available. We invite you to review your offering and secure one or more of these highly coveted wines.

Critical Acclaim for the 2023 Vintage

We are also delighted to share that our 2023 Vintage wines have received widespread critical acclaim, earning 95–99+ point scores from leading wine publications. A near-perfect growing season delivered wines of exceptional concentration, aromatic lift, and refined, terroir-driven elegance — an extraordinary counterpoint to the distinct character of 2024.

About the 2024 Vintage

The 2024 growing season across Sonoma's premier Pinot Noir appellations was, by all measures, textbook. A rain-rich January replenished soils, followed by a cool, extended spring that delayed budbreak and bloom into late May. Summer brought periods of intense heat, yet the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast benefited from consistent marine influence, preserving vine balance. As harvest approached, mild days and cool nights ensured vibrant natural acidity, with pristine conditions throughout picking — a welcome contrast to the challenges of 2023.

Early impressions are compelling. Russian River Valley wines show depth and energy, Sonoma Coast wines emphasize savory nuance and site expression, and Petaluma Gap bottlings reflect their signature tension and structure. Across the board, 2024 is being heralded as one of the finest vintages in decades, defined by finesse, freshness, and clarity of place.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We are honored to share these wines with you.
